Helping Jenkins Legal & Advisory maintain their competitive edge

The team at Jenkins Legal Services came to us wanting to update their name to Jenkins Legal & Advisory to better reflect the broad range of services and knowledge they offer.

Jenkins Legal & Advisory is a Newcastle-based firm, founded in 2014 by Micah Jenkins. Their team is committed to providing authentic, strategic, and dependable legal solutions to a vast clientele. After an initial discussion, we all agreed this was the perfect opportunity to freshen up their entire brand.

The situation

Over the years, Jenkins Legal & Advisory have worked hard to finesse their services, and their brand focus. They were after an updated brand that would not only encompass their services and capabilities but also match their business vision.

The team wanted to make sure that their branding truly reflected the breadth of services they offered – which it hadn’t been effectively doing,” –  Elle Nixon, Brand and Creative Specialist.

The Plan

The main goal was to modernise their branding, to better reflect their vast range of services, and encapsulate their continuous growth since founding.

Creating the brand

Our first step to elevate the brand was to create an icon to go with the new name. By adding an icon, this assisted with better recognition, a visual first impression that the audience could associate with the name.

The icon is an abstract of ‘J+L’ intertwined together to represent their extensive services, and the range of knowledge, and support that they provide to their clients. The icon was used in the designing of brand collateral, and with the additional element next to the name, it took their branding to a whole new level.

We introduced orange within the logo, updating the colour palette to help them stand out, and separate themselves from competitors in the area. Traditionally, blues and greys are most often used amongst legal brands.

We decided to retain the previous fonts and layout, as they were already well-known and established amongst their clients. We didn’t want to stray too much from their previous brand, instead, we wanted to focus on the smaller details to give the brand the refresh it needed.

All brand collateral items were updated with the new branding including; digital letterheads, billboards, business cards, email signatures and across their website.

The situation

We were able to help take Jenkins Legal & Advisory’s brand to the next level. Making the brand more modern, helping them to stand-out among competitors, and giving their business a competitive edge.

The team were extremely happy with the end result of their new branding, marketing collateral and website tweaks.
