Blowing the competition away through a holistic marketing strategy

We’ve been providing Air Extreme Air Conditioning with a full suite of marketing services for a number of years, helping to support business growth and make brand awareness a breeze.

As a local air conditioning company servicing the domestic and commercial spaces, Air Extreme Air Conditioning is up against plenty of local competition.
Their industry is constantly growing and evolving, which makes it challenging to find and maintain a competitive edge without a clear marketing direction.
Air Extreme was looking for support to identify their value proposition, improve brand awareness and ultimately become the number one choice for residential and commercial air conditioning installations in the Hunter region.
They brought in The Marketing GP, and we did what we do best – we created marketing magic for their business!

The situation

Co-Directors, Mick Bull and Justin Bull established Air Extreme in 2006 and have grown the business from a small two-person operation to a team of over 40 staff.

However, they recognised with their rapid growth they needed a team to handle their day-to-day marketing.
Having previously worked with marketing companies that weren’t the right fit for their team, Air Extreme were specific with what they wanted out of their new marketing partnership. They wanted a team that could provide a holistic approach to marketing and strategy, who could provide consistent marketing across multiple channels and who they could rely on to understand their core business and industry.

Following a referral from a one of our client’s (Mick’s friend), Mick and Justin reached out to our team at the beginning of 2020. And as they say, the rest is history…

The plan

Following a strategy meeting, we developed and implemented a plan for Air Extreme designed to improve their current marketing channels and help increase their brand awareness. This included:

  • A brand refresh, including brand development for their company vehicle fleet, marketing graphics, advertising material and social media; 
  • A full audit of their website, for SEO and user experience;
  • Replacing all their website forms with HubSpot forms, providing additional capabilities and automation
  • Building a new quote form to reduce administration time;
  • Development of new website pages to better showcase their services and improve Google rankings;
  • An advertising strategy for Google and Facebook;
  • A social media strategy to be implemented across their three social channels: Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram;
  • An ongoing recruitment plan which included developing a careers page and advertising strategy which has resulted in over 115 applications in a two year period. 

And that was just the beginning.

The results

Fast forward to today, and our team is continuing to work with Air Extreme to deliver a quality marketing for their business.

Their team has seen an increase in residential and commercial enquiries through their website, a growth in social media followers, and they’re fast becoming a household name thanks to the development of numerous media releases celebrating their business wins.
