Ashleigh Dorney is a creative marketing professional and a Marketing Assistant with The Marketing GP who brings a wide-range of experience to clients. Ashleigh fell in love with business marketing early, during her high school years. The ability to help businesses to share their stories and obtain a competitive edge drives Ashleigh every day. She works with clients of many sizes and from many industries and enjoys finding ways to improve and innovate their marketing activities through new technologies and solutions.
My professional experience is mixed – I grew up in a large farm and with the agricultural industry, was actively involved in advocating and building audiences for local agricultural events, have been a nanny and studied in events and tourism, and now specialist in business marketing.
I enjoy bringing client’s visions to life and am also passionate about taking the stress of event management from our clients. I’ve worked on my hometown’s Show Society and volunteered at The Newcastle Show, as well as assisted with our client’s events. There’s nothing like a smoothly run event and exceptional experience for guests to help your business’ brand to shine.
I am a creative at heart and can be found spending my time copywriting, managing our client’s social media and digital brands, and connecting with clients on a daily basis.
When I am not at work, I like to get out on the lake in the boat or jet ski, playing with my puppies or listening to my favourite tunes. Tay Tay (Taylor Swift) tops the list of course.
