We’ve grown a lot over 10 years. In fact, we began as a team of just one – Holly Martin – under the name Just Holly back in 2012. This was short-lived, as demand outgrew the time she had available as a single practitioner. With brilliant clients by our side, a growing team of marketing general practitioners and specialists and the world out our fingertips, we’ve evolved. We’ve transformed to meet new market needs, we’ve expanded to provide a full solution to our clients, and we’ve built a stronger network of partners.
All whilst remaining true to our values, our strong culture that many know us for, and our commitment to diagnosing and providing effective treatments to help businesses grow through their marketing.
We’ve always encouraged our clients to dream big. To challenge convention. We may not sit down the hall, but we’ve become the marketing team our clients can rely on to help them grow.
Our team prides itself on being a partner our clients want to work with, and marketing experts want to work for. We’re constantly tackling barriers, pushing limits and helping our clients lead the way in their industry through their marketing and their brand. At 10 years, we thought it was our turn.
When we put it to the team that we’d like a new face for the brand that represents our core, they were excited to get involved. But like plumbers often have faulty taps, it took us some time to get it right – we’re tough clients you see! We wanted our brand to reflect us perfectly. Behind the scenes, we’ve been collaborating, tweaking, dabbling, sharing, and improving.
Our new brand is designed to be sleek and modern. The icon reflects a puzzle – we solve problems for our clients and may not take the normal path to get there if it means better results.
It represents a jigsaw piece – as general practitioners we ensure all pieces of the marketing puzzle fit together. It embodies a maze – but with many different options to use, which is just like our marketing strategies! The logo has elements of a speech bubble – because at the core of all we do, is communication.
To complement the icon, we have used a modern, sans-serif font with a geometric appearance, playing perfectly with the geometric aspect of the icon. We wanted to highlight our central service -marketing – by using a bolder version of the font. The thicker weight also helps to balance the weight of the icon.
Our central branding is black and white, but when you peel back our logo, you’ll discover the colour within – colour that represents how vibrant we are as a business and team and that aligns with our different service arms. We explore the colours further by incorporating playful gradients into each service, illustrating the complexities and depth of knowledge our team has for each area.
We have added an additional layer of visual consistency to our brand, further exploring our service arms with the use of patterns. Each service arm has allocated a specific pattern, further reiterating our creativity and innovation in each of our services.
Clients and audiences will associate these bold patterns and gradient colours to each one of our specialties, creating a sense of excitement, passion, and an eagerness to work with us.
As part of our new brand marketing suite, we’ve rolled out our brand across all of our digital platforms, designed impactful pull-up banners and office signage and created experiences through our collateral and merchandise. Our brand has been brought to life in the form of coffee cups, staff t-shirts, pens, notepads, digital-based business cards and marketing templates.
