Since my beginnings at The Marketing GP, I have already learned that marketing is taken to a whole new level and approach here. It’s dynamic, fun, professional and ticks all the boxes. I enjoy working for a company that strengthens local brands and helping them stand out from the crowd. My skills see me work with a mixture of strategy development, social media and event management, website development, branding and networking.
My focus within my role is to make sure your company’s dream becomes a reality. Pair this with my personal passion for local business and an ever-evolving repertoire of marketing/communications skills, we have ourselves a nice fit.
These previous positions gave me the opportunity to develop the skills to look for creative ways to make brands ‘shine’ and flourish. Whether it’s through social media, writing a captivating blog, or helping to put on a stellar event – I can confidently say you can rely on me to make this happen.
During my studies I made a consistent effort to sit in on extra-curricular learning opportunities focused on dynamic ways of integrating communication, marketing and public relations to help safeguard companies into the future. I plan to continue to take up professional development opportunities to ensure I am always two-steps in front in my approach.
In my spare time you will find me in the kitchen cooking up a storm, reading a book, going to local music gigs or catching up on some Netflix. I also invest my time in charity work, making sure to support local and international causes whenever I can. In 2014 I went to Cambodia with the ‘Restore One’ charity and have been actively supporting human rights initiatives ever since.
