After working with the Bean Counters Ball committee on their annual event since 2018, we were asked by their team to help build and upgrade their website to wow their attendees.
The Bean Counters Ball Committee were eagerly awaiting a website upgrade following ten years with the same site. In 2022 the committee came to their trusted event management partners, us, to provide their website upgrade as part of our full marketing service offering.

The Bean Counters Ball site needed a complete overhaul to bring it up to speed with current trends and digital functionality.
We began by completing a full website audit to confirm which pages and information needed to be carried over to the new site. This resulted in providing several recommendations on areas to be improved, including the design, copy, optimisation and HubSpot integration.
As the theme of the Ball changes each year, we needed to provide a website which could be customised annually to suit the theme – easily! We implemented a ritzy WordPress theme that is easy to update and could be replicated with ease every year.
We also completely overhauled the sitemap to simplify the experience for guests and remove any barriers from ticket purchase.
What can be better than crafting content for one of the biggest Hunter-based events of the year! Our experienced copywriters crafted content that was as lively, engaging and purpose-focused as the event itself. Copy was SEO-friendly and designed to take users on a journey throughout the site and eventually to the ticketing page.
One of the committee’s biggest pain points is the turnover of members annually. There isn’t the time to learn new systems every election, so the systems and processes needed to be simple. We recommended a Free HubSpot account integration to the website to help streamline and simplify CRM managements for the team.
With a Free HubSpot account, the Committee has access to forms which can be embedded on the website for patrons to register interest for sponsorship, event updates and apply for the prestigious Young Achiever Award which is presented on the night. The form submissions can be assigned to various committee members with ease, meaning there’s no need to worry about missed communication in the future when the committee is updated.
Additionally, all the website’s visits, engagements and stats are stored within HubSpot for the Chair’s review.
